Crafty Mama

We have one crafty mama. She heard I was coming home this weekend with Anni, and whipped up this adorable little dolly for her. She got the pattern from Sew Much Ado . Her name is Ruby Lou. Could she be any cuter? I think not.




My mom and dad renovated their home probably 10 years ago. With the reno's they had left two beautiful french doors.....with nowhere to go. My mom came up with this great idea to convert them into headboards. This is the unfinished product, but you can tell they are going to be beautiful, and unique! Tess said she asked my mom if she can have one when she dies. oh, Tess, haha. They are pretty beautiful, though.

    those are awesome. are they going to leave the glass clear? i can see a funky wall paper really making a statement!

    Holy Moley..I love LOVE this idea. I've seen it done with solid doors but never a french door. Very nice.
